| Success Story | We made a full desktop & server migration in a client. We replaced the Novell server with Mars NWE and the desktops with KDE 3.2+dosemu+drdos running the clipper legacy application. The transition was smoothly, and they were happy, since they previously had to reboot with a DOS floppy to use the DOS application, because they couldn't avoid the users closing their windows (breaking the database indexes in some cases). kwin allowed us to prevent that. The new solution wasn't only cheaper, it was far superior too. |
